Must have an active Secret Clearance:
Serves as a Senior Advisor, providing day-to-day management and coordination of PEPFAR programs, including but not limited to: (1) integration of workflows within S/GAC, via the Integration Team; (2) strategic country management; (3) capacity-building and workforce-development of Chairs and PEPFAR Program Managers (PPMs), as well as ongoing mentoring of PPMs; and (4) serve in the Field as needed as an S/GAC strategy advisor to PEPFAR Coordination Offices.
1. Integration of workflows within S/GAC, via Integration Team:
o Serve as Chair of Integration Team, contributing to strategic planning and execution of S/GAC workflows
o Facilitate informed, timely decision-making by providing leadership with critical updates that explicitly frame decision-points
o Prepare written materials (i.e. weekly updates, memoranda, cables, etc.) describing the objectives and timelines of various S/GAC workflows, to inform program planning and execution
2. Strategic country management:
o Structure and guide the management and organization of PEPFAR programs with PDAS and Deputy Coordinators
o Manage the Chair and PPM Meetings, in conjunction with Deputy Coordinators and the Integration Team
o Manage the Coordinator Call, in conjunction with the Integration Team
o Provide assistance to the weekly Deputy Principals meetings
o Develop and issue messages for S/GAC HQ, with all the necessary inputs and clearances from across the office
o Develop and issue PEPFAR-wide messages to the Field, with all the necessary inputs and clearances from across the office
3. Capacity-building and mentoring of Chairs and PEPFAR Program Managers (PPM):
o Work with consultants as needed for Chair trainings
o Support the Integration Team's effort to onboard and train PEPFAR Program Managers, with a focus on translating all the various training modules into guidance for day-to-day work of a PPM
o Provide ongoing guidance, coaching and mentoring to PPMs
4. Serve in the Field as an S/GAC detailee to PEPFAR Coordination Offices
o Provide technical assistance and strategic guidance to PEPFAR Field teams that need it

Master’s in Public Health, Epidemiology, Public Policy, International Development, International Affairs or related fields
